VARSITY BRANDS NATIONAL ATHLETIC DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR: A credit to many

In the spring of 2019, I was recognized as the national athletic director of the year by Varsity Brands. The awards show was incredible and the initiative for the many educational leaders they celebrated is fantastic. It was unexpected and inspiring to receive the honor. I recently received the link to my acceptance speech here. I share it so that the people that deserve the credit, get the credit they deserve. When one receives recognition, it is a credit to many. Unexpressed gratitude is an expression of ungratefulness. I am blessed to serve alongside and be supported by an incredible family and community. If you click on the link and watch the 2 minute video, pay careful attention to who I give credit to because they are the ones that deserve it along with many others.
